CORI Surgical System
What is CORI?
CORI is the most advanced and efficient handheld robotic platform available in orthopedics today. The system utilizes image-free smart mapping, patient-specific planning, and robotic-assisted bone preparation. This technology helps Dr. Martin achieve more accuracy in bone resection and alignment which can improve your speed of recovery and overall outcome. Implants compatible with the CORI system are especially important for patients that may be allergic to some metals, especially nickel.
How CORI works.
The Joint Replacement Center of Scottsdale utilizes robotic technology to provide you
with a personalized surgical plan based on your unique anatomy. A handheld robotic unit is then used during your surgery to ensure precise implant placement according to the surgical plan.

Who is a candidate
for the CORI Surgical System?
Each patient is unique and can experience joint pain for different reasons. It’s important to talk to us about the reason for your joint pain so you can understand the treatment options available to you. Pain from arthritis and joint degeneration can be constant or come and go, occur with movement or after a period of rest, or be located in one spot or many parts of the body. It is common for patients to try medication and other conservative treatments to treat their hip or knee pain. If you haven’t experienced adequate relief with those treatment options, you may be a candidate for the CORI Surgical System, which may provide you with relief from your joint pain.
